2. Products and Orders
- We sell children’s beds, mattresses and bedroom furniture online.
- Products are supplied through trusted suppliers, including Kidsaw and other approved brands.
- All orders are subject to availability.
- Orders are usually processed within 1 to 2 business days.
- Delivery is usually completed within 2 to 3 working days within the UK, unless stated otherwise on the product page or during checkout.
- We currently only ship within the United Kingdom.
3. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
We want customers to feel confident when ordering from Cool Kid Beds. Our returns policy applies to orders delivered within the United Kingdom.
Return window
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to tell us that you would like to return it. Once you have told us, you then have a further 14 days to send the item back.
To start a return, please contact us at info@coolkidbeds.co.uk with your order number, the product you would like to return and the reason for return.
Condition of returned items
Returned items must be new, unused, unassembled and in their original packaging, unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
You may inspect the item as you would in a shop, but please do not assemble, use or damage the product if you intend to return it.
Change-of-mind returns
We accept change-of-mind returns for eligible products within the return window above.
Please contact us before returning any item so we can confirm the correct return address and return process. Returns must not be sent to our registered correspondence address unless we specifically instruct you to do so.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible and include photos of the issue, the packaging and your order number.
Where appropriate, we will arrange replacement parts, a replacement product, an exchange or a refund. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items will be handled in line with your statutory rights.
Exchanges
We accept exchanges where stock is available and the product is eligible for return. If you would like to exchange an item, please contact us at info@coolkidbeds.co.uk before sending anything back.
Return method and return labels
Returns are handled by mail or courier. Please contact us before returning any item so we can confirm the correct return address and return process.
For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return postage unless we agree otherwise in writing.
For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, we will advise the appropriate return process and, where required, arrange or reimburse reasonable return costs in line with your statutory rights.
Restocking, handling and deductions
We do not charge a restocking fee for faulty, damaged or incorrect items.
For change-of-mind returns, we reserve the right to make a reasonable deduction, up to £25, if an item is returned used, assembled, damaged, missing parts, missing packaging or handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it.
No deduction will be made for normal inspection of the item.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we will process any approved refund within 10 days.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to make the funds available.
Items that cannot be returned for change of mind
Some items may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns, including personalised, custom-made or made-to-order products, unless they are faulty, damaged or incorrect.
4. Warranties
Products may be covered by manufacturer warranties for defects arising from normal use. Warranty cover does not apply to damage caused by misuse, incorrect assembly, accidental damage or normal wear and tear.
5. DIY Assembly Disclaimer
Many products require self-assembly. Please follow the instructions carefully. We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by incorrect assembly, misuse or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
6. Payment
All payments are processed securely through recognised payment providers, including Shopify Payments, Stripe, PayPal, Klarna or other available checkout options.
Ownership of goods transfers only once full payment has been received.
7. Disputes
If you are unhappy with your order, please contact us first at info@coolkidbeds.co.uk so we can try to resolve the issue.
If we cannot reach a resolution, you may refer your case to an appropriate UK alternative dispute resolution service or pursue a claim through the UK small claims process.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
